EIN NULL: 10 YEARS OF SPRECHEN – THE EXHIBITION

In celebration of a decade of cutting-edge sound and stunning design, we’re thrilled to host a brand-new art exhibition that pays tribute to Manchester’s own Sprechen record label.
Opening on Thursday 3rd April, Ein Null is a visual journey through ten years of Sprechen’s influence on the city’s music and creative scene – showcasing bold, personality-packed artwork from designers like Alex Borg, Luke Martin, Chris Maude and Tom Bevan.
Expect everything from digital graphics to hand-cut stencils and screen prints, all bringing the music to life in a truly immersive way. Art lovers and music heads – this one’s for you.

PASCHA WEEKENDER – OUR BIG EASTER CELEBRATION

This Easter Bank Holiday, Refuge is serving up sunshine vibes (even if the skies don’t) with a full weekend of music, family fun, and fabulous food.
Easter Sunday – Family Day

- La Familia: A joyous multi-generational music collective playing tropical, funky beats
- Cequin Circus Workshop: Hula hoops, LED props, stilts, and more!

The music keeps flowing into the evening with DJ sets in the Public Bar & Dining Room – think Latin, Tropical, Afro-Caribbean and House – as we turn Refuge into a sunshine-soaked dance floor.
Easter Monday – Refuge Recovery

Ease into your Bank Holiday Monday with a laid-back Roast & Jazz session featuring Dr Sid and live jazz vibes. We’re serving up our famous Sunday Roast – because if there was ever a time for a Monday roast, this is it.

EASTER SATURDAY POT DECORATING AND PLANTING CLASS
£5.50 per child | 19th April 2025
Join us for a blooming lovely session in The Den, in collaboration with Clocktower Florist. Kids aged 4+ can decorate their very own terracotta pots and plant a flowering friend to take home and grow.
Oh – and there’s Grandpa Greene’s Ice Cream in it for each little gardener too!
Grown-ups, you’re welcome to sit back with a drink while the little ones get creative.
Live Music and Award Winning Theatre
This month there is plenty to sink your teeth into for music and theatre lovers alike. From a Valentine’s special event from Craig David at Co-Op Live and live shows from Cyndi Lauper, Snow Patrol, and James Blunt.
Theatre lovers can enjoy a delightful day out viewing Mary Poppins or a Knights Tale The Musical and experience our pre-show menu to set the tone off right! .
