From the much-loved Come As You Are Weekender at The Refuge to a one-off 45th anniversary celebration of Diana Ross’s “I’m Coming Out”, the stage is set for a weekend filled with music, joy and togetherness.

Back for 2025, our iconic Come As You Are party takes over Refuge across Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th August – and as always, entry is completely free.
Expect high-energy sets and an unbeatable atmosphere, with a full terrace takeover by Flash Ibiza, led by legendary Manchester DJ Guy Williams, alongside guest appearances from Supernature Disco and the dazzling Family Gorgeous.

DIANA ROSS: I’M COMING OUT – 45 YEARS OF AN ICON
On 22nd August 1980, Diana Ross released I’m Coming Out – a song that became an anthem of joy, freedom, and Pride. This Bank Holiday Monday, we honour its 45th anniversary with a one-night-only celebration at The Refuge.
Expect a soundtrack that moves seamlessly from the soulful grooves of Motown to the glitterball sparkle of Disco, with classics from Marvin Gaye, The Jacksons, The Temptations and, of course, Diana herself.

Oasis Fans – 1994–1997: Free Exhibition
As Manchester welcomes Oasis back on tour, Kimpton Clocktower Hotel is proud to host Oasis Fans – 1994–1997, a free exhibition presented in collaboration with the British Culture Archive.
On display until 31st August, this exhibition features never-before-seen photographs by Jon Shard, capturing the raw excitement of fans queuing in freezing conditions to secure tickets for the band’s legendary Maine Road gigs, when tickets cost just £17.50.
